Hello everybody, and welcome to entry #1. I'm tired from my track meet, so I'm gonna go to bed and dream about beating everybody again. Have a great evening!

Once I hired a monkey to take notes for me in class. I would sit there, my mind a complete blank, while the monkey scribbled on tiny pieces of paper. At the end of the week my teacher said, "Class I want you to write a paper using your notes." So I wrote a paper saying "Hello, my name is Bingo, I like to climb on things. Can I have a banana? Eek eek." I got an F. When I went home and told my mom she said, "Didn't I tell you never to trust a monkey?!?!"

Thats my story of the day, maybe someday someone will visit this blog and leave me a message.. but hey who knows. Anyway today was another uneventful day in my life. Actually it was pretty good, in that my history prof was sick so I didnt have school all morning. So i got some scholarships going. Hooray. Have a nice day all.

Today is sunday, and here I write once more. Want to see a great car chase? Rent Bullitt, its not too great a movie, but in the middle theres a car chase with a Charger and a Shelby GT.. mm mm mm. Flying through San Fran, its great. No stunt drivers either. Its a pretty old movie with a twisted plot, but I recommend it just for the sheer joy of the car chase. Anywho to anyone who cares I won the hurdles yesterday, and got second in the high jump. I had a big headline in the paper, with an article about two sentences long. It was hilarious, those guys at the UB should be shot. AOL Commies, I swear.

Today is yet another day in the life of me. I welcome anyone who is visiting. Track is track as always, with lots of hurdling and running and such. I need to learn to switch my jumping leg which isn't so natural but I guess it's working out. I apparently got the school record, or close to it. I can't wait for the post-season, and college is coming up pretty soon too. Track should be pretty fun there. I hope I'm tuff enuff. Fun fun fun.

Tomorrow's gonna be pretty boring, all my friends are working and I have nothing to do. Other than mow the lawn, that is. It'll probably rain. Who knows. So if anyone wants to hang out lol. I'll probably go run even though I have the weekend off. I don't want to so I probably won't. Guess who our class speaker is for graduation? Not me. Girl whos been in our class three years. hmm idk. Guess I wont have to worry about it after all. They're not even putting our senior wills in the yearbook!! ah I hate my school I'm so glad I'm leaving. Enough of the crap and just give me my diploma.

Soon enough I'll be happy again and not have to worry about stupid people doing stupid things. Just remember to live life, that's all you can do. On and on he goes, you say. Yes I like to whine but its how things go. Good things will happen later, however. I am sure. It'll be just like the old days. Just wait until we're grandparents telling our grandkids about gasoline, and internal combustion engines. We'll feel sooo old.  Yeah yeah.

Welcome to another episode of the Great White North, eh. It's sunday and tomorrow I'm getting my ear fixed! Hooray! I'm going to be able to hear again, and listen to music through both ears! Good Good good. So today went well, but I think I'm in debt now because I got mom earrings for mothers day. Tough break for me. Hey all, tomorrow we turn in our senior project papers, and if you don't, you don't graduate! So turn something in at least. Please, I love you all so I want the whole class to walk! Please! Haha, for those of you who don't know my school is anal retentive, and is getting shittier as the years go. Our senior project is due tomorrow as I said, and this year they choose to tighten everything down for us! Not that I have to worry, I'm already done with my paper and everything, but I worry for my friends who I don't want to be left behind.

To anyone who knows where Whitworth College is, thats where I'm going. And I'm still looking for money. I turned in alll the scholarships which will still only be like $2,000, but I may have gotten the one where I requested $2,000 anyway! I hope so. All the good luck I've been saving for all these years should pay off now I hope, because I know I haven't used it yet.

I heard from the track coach there too, so it looks like I'm on the team. I hope I do alright. And if you're my roommate out there, please don't be crazy! Weird is ok, but crazy is crazy. I'm not too crazy am I? I hope not. Well I guess we'll find out sooner or later. Maybe I'll be able to start a band in colj! I dunno kind of a longshot I know. But hey hey hey sooner or later I'll get out of here.

Anyway today was great. I stayed home again all day and slept. Hopefully the next few weeks won't be so damn hard. In any case it'll all be over before I know it as things always are. Hey! Me and my friend are goin to Priest Lake the day after we graduate until wednesday! Yess. No senior trip though, we have $90 in our account. I guess we just didn't care, I know I didn't. We got bitched out again by our class "advisor." She says she's tired of picking up all the pieces or whatever.. I see her at school until like 9:30 every night anyway. Then we told her we could have someone do a slideshow for free and she flipped again about not wanting to spend any more money. Whatever that means. And then she got mad because we didn't turn in our baby pictures for the slide show when no one told us it was for the slide show, just the annual which won't put our senior wills in. Haha, thats why I'm soo glad I'm leaving. It's all comedic to me, it really is. I just laugh at them and how stupid they are.. Well I think thats enough for tonight. To be continued......

Good day everyone, today is my first entry from the source of my new laptop. Its cool and I can walk all over my house and use it because of the wireless router we have! haha awesome. Anywho today nothing really happened, I actually got my Silent Movie Soundtrack which is hilarious and I love it and the movie. My new comp also has movie making software which Im not sure if youre all aware, but is very cool due to my directing debuts. Lol, it also has a DVD burner and cd burner, which is excellent, Im gonna watch napoleon dynamite in a few lol.

School wasnt too bad today, not too many people going crazy. We had our baccalaureate meeting today, my grandpas speaking I hope he says something funny. But theres also some crazy people speaking which I dont seem to care much about. Me and my friends are also gonna play some praise songs, so it should be fun. Haha, it just saved and a tag suggestion is 'ima gonna be fucked up after school  today' lol. Tough break for that guy. Eh anywho, my cat is on my feet.

Well today was awful tiring. I got up pretty late and was almost late for my colj class. Then I didn't eat any lunch.. which kinda kills me for track, and I only realized i skipped lunch at track lol. We did 300's today and I ran alright, but I was just too damn tired. It was nice to come home and sit around, oh so nice.

Anywho, we haev a meet friday so tomorrow is an easy day. Awesome! lol Reggie Miller had a big second half today, and the Pacers won! Thats awesome. Too bad its his last season, he's definately one of the best. I remember on NBA Jam i used to be him all the time lol. I have his jersey somewhere i should find it lol.

Yeah so I think I may want to get some sleep tonight, I think I'll take off, and talk to you all later!

Hey everyone todays topic is your beloved Laguna Beach eh. Haha I know this is sooo last season, but I watched the one where Kristens SUV broke and it was hilarious!! First of all the best part was her bitching about needing a new car, when it was like a 2003 Isuzu or whatever. The funny thing is that she lives in the middle of a city and has no need for an SUV. The other funny thing is that when she wants a new car, she goes to a Ferrari dealership, and wonders why her dad wont by her a new car.

Still even funnier is that when the car overheats, she stops in the middle of traffic and turns it off. It's funny how she and her friend think that its going to explode and freak out too. Then when the cop comes and tells her to move it, she gets even bitchier about it and says it cant be moved or it'll break more. Now in that situation it wouldn't hurt at all to pull it off twenty feet or so and turn it off again.

And then when she gets home her dad tells her it was something with the oil, but the damn thing was steaming!! lol And she got sad because she didn't know how to change or even check the oil. Haha.

And then there's the episode where they go camping on Catalina! Its so funny, because the whole island (or at least the part they camped on) was completely brown, and they went on a yacht! Then the whole thing with the stupid bear story.. are there even bears anywhere around there? And then Kristen gets all pissed at the stupid one. lol Stephen? i dunno. I really don't think he looks even remotely intellegent, but again thats just me.

When I go camping its usually somewhere green, in the forest.. but thats just me. Well thats all the hilarity that I have to pass around for the day, so be excellent to each other!

Im watchin laguna again and it reminds me about how much I hate how rich people bitch about how bad their lives are as their servants bring them food and they go to the beach which is ten feet away. They also said something about it being the most beautiful place in america or something when I know its not the truth. I've seen plenty of dead plaes with beaches.

Anywo I dont know its just really makin me angry I dont know why. maybe Ill just change the channel instead of watching these people lie and bitch at each other.

Good day, today was Saturday. Well it was an alright day I guess. I had a headache all day and it almost drove me insane. The Balloon Stampede is this weekend but its kinda dumb and I didnt go. Eh. Anyway me and Brad went and got the canoe and cleaned it up and what not. We're takin it on our cool trip woo hoo.

I also went to the Iceburg last night and got a cheeseburger and scotch n' soda. Oh it was soo good i can still taste it mmmmmmmm. I love that place. So I slept until noon today, and then got up and watched TV and did nothing. Tomorrow should be eventful, I have three papers I need to write for English and also some weirdo scholarship.

Yeah thats all I can think about for now. I had something else but now I can't remember.. I hope I'm in the paper tomorrow! Look me up in the Union Bulletin lol worst newspaper in the history of the world!!

Hello everyone. I am writing you late due to the huge day I had today, forgive me for my procrastination. I was up all night last night, due to my friend's house burning down, and we had them here all night as the crews were fighting the fire. We also had a big ASB event, the father daughter BBQ, and then a we watched National Treasure. Which I'll talk about later. But then I had Salt and Light and then spent an hour trying to find the software to get Word on my computer and then ugh lol so much I did today. Finally got my outline and resume done for my senior project a minute ago.

Anyway National Treasure is a good movie, however the end is quite inaccurate. Cage says all the stuff there is worth about 10 billion dollars. Their first discovery, however, are the scrolls from the library in Alexandria, which alone would make them a fortune, close to many billion dollars. Then the whole giant room filled with gold and many old lost items from the ancient civilizations. Probably the Ark of the Covenant somewhere in there too.  Someday someone might find that and it'll be really cool. Anyway Im out, tomorrows monday, so have a great week

Well good day again to everyone. Today is Tuesday I believe, and a very productive day for me I guess. This week is another one of those ever increasing work weeks. I can't believe how much crap I have to do by Friday and Monday. Papers papers papers. Only eighteen days left though. Then I'm done with stupid high school forever. I'm gonna miss athletics though, that is the only fun part I have left any more. I don't have to see any more of the same stupid people every day, I'm soo happy.

I'm also getting sick of having to walk by all the gross people to even get into my school. Makes me want to barf everywhere. Theyre just hanging all over each other and touching and... gag! You think that some common decency might be able to thrive in a place like this. They all think they're badasses too, but if they got confronted at all haha they'd probably piss themselves. So I won't miss them at all I hope I don't remember any of them.

I do feel pretty bad for some of my classmates though. I just don't understand why they can't do their stupid assignments and projects on time. It's so easy and they always seem to be late and get threatened not to graduate. Everyone got yelled at today, because something about us not having posterboard and turning things in when I have turned in everything and she said she'd get us the posterboard and give us time to work on them! Ah!

So thats how things are going in Waitsburg.. not too well and the school is really going down the drain. I'm guessing that at your school you actually have to do something bad for in school suspension? Well today this guy named Aaron got ISS because he fell asleep in class....? Eh anyway.

So Antics is going well too. I think someday I might get around to writing a song or to and putting some music to them. The whole problem is selling it to the kids these days lol. Oh hell I think that someday I won't even remember trying to put a band together. Probably won't care either. But I may try again in college, because theres a big music building I can just go to and find people I guess. Yeah it'll be cool to have friends I can choose too.. maybe if I'm not too bashful to make friends. And don't let me fool you online lol, it's much easier than in real life.

Ok so this weekend was the weekend of the horse races. Lots of cowboys and such roaming around town. Good cheeseburgers though and fries mmmmmmm. I love it soo much! So anyway the league track meet was soo awesome on Friday! I won the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and high jump. I got third in the 100m, but next week I'm in the 4x100 relay and we're going to state for sure! It's great because the results from Whitman county came in and as always we're soo much better! Hahaha.

So if anyone wants to check it out I'll be at state in Cheney at Eastern Washington University. 300 prelims are on Thursday the 2nd, and all the other prelims I do are on Friday, like the 110 hurdles and 4x100. High jump is Friday morning at ten. Then all the Finals are on Friday, soo you should be able to catch me runnin around there some time.

Hey so anyone read my love letter last time? lol whatever. I was really bummed out that night I dont know why. Just happens every once in a while when I go to the stupid Young life thing or whatever. Just reminds me of times when I was soo much happier haha. Just how things go I guess. Remember to always be happy and not worry about things! It's good advice and hard to follow but it'll help a lot. It's nice to get those things out somehow.. lol good thing she doesn't own a computer.

I also finished my senior paper so I think I'll get a pass this time. Stupid people saying I didn't have something in there. I wrote like the exact same thing as my friend who got a pass! >:-( But I guess this time I should pass. My stupid boards are Monday after state too. AND I have to make my poster by Wednesday when I have to present in front of the class.

Hello comrades. Hey guess what next week i have nooo school hahaha! Thats awesome. No laughing to those of you already out of school. Districts is tomorrow so someone better come watch me or im gonna be mad. Its gonna be good though because you know, I'll just have fun like always.

Anyway I just noticed how stupid school is getting. I can't wait until college. No worrying about stupid people or teachers. Just good news. Ah I hate summer work. I think this year I'm really gonna pull out in front of a cement truck so I dont have to do harvest. It would be so much easier. My boss told me yesterday he had some work for me before hand, but I told him I'd just start when it actually starts. Im not gonna do bitch work for him all summer that I hate. I want to actually kind of live before school starts again. My stupid parents want me to work every day and it pisses me off.

I hate June a lot. I always go on trips, and whenever I get back, the wheat turns more and more gold. I hate looking at that stupid grain.. it reminds me of the worst summers of my life. Its not because of the work, I wouldnt mind working at all. I just live in fear of work all the time. From 7 to 7 every day I fear fucking something up, and its always bound to happen. Getting yelled at and dirty and hot and i hate it. I always do bitch work too having to dig and wash things ahhh! I might even have to drive a semi this year. That scares the shit out of me. I can handle a little truck with a 18000 lb payload... but a 10-speed semi with 90,000 lbs behind me? I will kill someone, and I dont want to do that. Ugh im so scared and tired of being scard of this stupid job. The only good thing is that ill prolly get paid a lot this year. First year i got 115$ a day, last year i got $135 a day.. so this year i hope ill get even more. Ugh but i still want to die while im working. It sucks so much. Anyway..

Good day everyone, how are things going? Today the state track meet started, and I ran the 300 hurdles preliminary races. The best part is that I won the prelims again :) looking good so far, tomorrow I only have the 110 high hurdles and the high jump after that, so I'm glad I won't get too tired all day long. Today we drove around Spokane looking for a Grannies Buffet for like an hour, and couldnt find one. Anywho we ate and went to the mall too later and rode a grocerie cart around the parking lot for a while.

Hopefully tomorrow is going to be fun too well actually catch the mall when its open and have a great time. If anyone wants to head to Cheney I run at 10:30 110s and at 10:45 the high jump is there then.

Hey to Kenz and Lauren thank you so much for being around for me, I appreciate it more than you know. I am much happier now, so I'll talk to you soon!

Well, welcome to the blog on my last day of track in high school. Today we where at State, and I ran in the morning.. I did bad in the 110 hurdles, I fucking stutter stepped on the first one! Ugh I got fifth and I hated it. So then I waited a while, and did the 300's, and got fifth again. I hate this all. Last year I did so good and now everything seems so bad. Well I guess I still did ok, but I couldve done better. And it's my last meet. I hate to think about it. I'm done with high school. Sure it sucked.. but it was fun what can I say. To all you who think you hate it so much.. savor it.. you'll want it back when it's gone.

I guess the real thing is getting to see an old classmate there. She's from my old school by Spokane.. and she's soo beautiful. I haven't seen her since second grade, but somehow she remembered me. Not to say that I think thats some kind of magical connection or anything. It was kind of weird.. "hey i know this is weird and you probably dont remember me at all, but I was in your second grade class." Yeah, awkward. So we talked for like two minutes and she left. It would've been nice if she wanted to keep in touch now.. I guess I'm just looking in all the wrong places. But wow she was beautiful. Too bad I didn't think about that in second grade. Now I wish we wouldn't have moved, because then I'd be at a big school and I still could've been succesful. And have such a choice as her, maybe even have the opportunity for her to know me well enough that I wouldn't have to be.. trying to impress her I guess. I know it sounds dumb.. but I guess I'm dumb too. I just wish I could get another chance for someone to get to know me. I really hope she doesn't think I'm some kind of stalker.. I hate when I creep people out like that. Her name is Tracy haha she'll probably be even more scared if she reads this or even has blogs.. well If she does maybe she'll get a hold of me. I hope.

That's the only bad thing about the State meet.. its kind of bittersweet actually, because there's track babes walking around scandily clad and such because its hot, which is nice, and then theres also thinking, "man I wish she would like me." Thats the worst part.. maybe I'm just going about things wrong.. but I feel so stupid when I talk.. Im the most boring person ever, and all I have to talk about is my accomplishments. I don't ever want to sound big headed or anything, but Ive been a part of some great teams and done some great things too. It blows when you see someone who got a worse place than you get a big hug and have a team mate tell him everything will be ok. Thats all I needed.. someone to care enough that they'd find me and tell me everything would be ok.

But it's all just wishful thinking I guess.. someday something good might happen. But what a fool believes he sees.. yeah. But like I said, anyone ever heard the Queen song "Somebody to Love"? Its good.

Today is June 6th, 2005. I would like for everone to take a moment to remember the bravest men of the Greatest Generation who fought on the beaches of Normandy sixty-one years ago, for our freedom and the freedom of Europe. Without this valiant assault by the forces of the Allies of the free world, our world as we know it may have been consumed by the dark cloud of fascist Nazis. I have the greatest respect for those men who fought and died, and hope someday I will somehow be able to be as honorable as them someday. 

I also would like to remember all the soldiers who have fought and are fighting right now, and no matter what you think of the war today, I hope you can all commemorate these brave men and women.

So thank your local soldier, and veteran. From any war, their sacrifice of time, and friends, and lives is the most important thing anyone could do for us. Without them, we could not say the things we say now, and oppressive tyranny would weigh down civilization.

Thank you, to all the men of the Revolutionary War, Civil War of both sides, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and any others that I have forgotten. You are among the greatest of this country, and I hope that everyone will realise it is so.

Welcome to Thursday.. actually now I think its Friday.. I dont know haha. Anyway just another day of me saying... "Thank Your Local Veteran." Whoever he or she may be.

I have seen reports of this Democratic Senator and his statements comparing Guantanamo (or however you spell it) to death camps in Nazi Germany and Siberia (Russia). This leads me to conclude anyone who could think this is an underinformed ignorant idiot who although they are practicing their freedom of speech, is utterly wrong. Let us examine Nazi death camps for a moment. First of all, clear violation of the Geneva convention. Putting innocent civilians (and POW's for that matter) into forced labor and extermination camps. Average meal for the day? Bread; thin, watery soup which has less nutrition in it than a bottle of Dasani. Encouraged killings of prisoners, and again, EXTERMINATION. By choice, extermination. Murder of people who are in camps to be murdered. Forgive me for not supporting the Russian aspect, but I would hope that Senator Know-it-all would also include Japanese death camps. Because that would be good. See, the Japs were even worse. Maybe a handful of rice per day, if you were lucky. Persistent beatings by power-hungry lesser ranked soldiers, and back breaking work without breaks (remember the lack of nutrition; a handful of rice a day can not support this kind of work). May I also point out that many POWs also developed breasts during their captivity, due to lack of nutrition, and had many other terrible jungle diseases (wet and dry beriberi, sometimes at the same time).

Now, this "death camp" as pointed out by the good senator. First of all, three square meals a day. Interrogations, sure, but no constant beatings. And I am positive no American Soldier has cut the fetis out of a pregnant woman during a death march either. Now I do recognize that there have been mistreatments of prisoners here. But may I also say that the perpetrators are now facing court martials? I dont see any Nazis, Russians, or Japanese punished by their own country for hurting and killing prisoners (in fact it was encouraged).

This leads to my next point, which I hope you will not misinterpret. Today I watched a show on the Battle of Iwo Jima. Numbers on this battle are staggering. This is where I hope you will stay with me and not misunderstand. I have the greatest amount of respect to those who have lost their lives in the War in Iraq. In Iraq, approximately 1,700 soldiers have died. On day one of Iwo Jima, approximately 2,000 casualties were inflicted upon the Marines (remember a casualty is not only death, but also a wounded soldier unable to continue fighting). In one day. The whole battle attributed to 16,000 American casualties (again, dead and wounded) and 20,000 Japanese dead (not casualties). I must say again, I am not disproving the sacrifice made by our men and women today, just proving a point.

Ask any veteran if this war was right, the correct thing to do. 90% of the time the answer will be yes. People do not seem to remember that when we sit idle in our country, the war comes to us again and again. Pearl Harbor, 9/11, we must stop this cycle before it repeats again, and we are already at work doing so. Some extreme measures may need to be taken, and hopefully we will be safe again someday.

Good day all! Haha I would like to welcome myself back to Mindsay, because as you have noticed I haven't posted anything in the last two weeks. But anyway I'm back. And as always I really don't have anything to talk about.

So Sunday, I go to see off my good friend Anna-Lena, our German exchange student. And we get to the airport.. and her plane is cancelled! Thus, being near a mall, we decide to have a fun day on her now last day in the States. And as we're cruising around the mall, Brad and I decide we're going to dye our hair. So we go to the nearest salon. I got red, and he got blue. So now my hair is a flaming hue of red, called rage. Anyway, I got highlights in it too and it looks really cool. So I like it.

Good day everyone. Welcome to the first day of pre-harvest. Quite possibly the least fun aspect of harvest, although I can say that harvest isn't really fun to begin with. Anyway I showed up today and we washed a tractor with a bankout wagon. Now I must tell you that this also includes waxing the whole tractor and wagon.. which is awful tedious and tiring. So then we washed and waxed a combine, less work than a bankout, but much warmer. The top of that damned thing must've been at least 150 degrees. Anyway we got halfway done with another bankout wagon, and then the boss man said we could go home. So tomorrow includes more washing and waxing, due to the three or four combines that are left to be cleaned.

So I guess this means we'll get to cutting in about two or three days, if the wheat is ready, which I doubt it is. Although the winter was dry, spring was average I'd say, we should be a little early just yet. Anywho thats how things are going with work, and I would prefer to talk about something else now.

The Fourth was awful fun, actually we lit off all the fun fireworks on the third, all the illegal ones which are fun haha. This also includes any kind of airial fireworks because Walla Walla is gay. So I have advising at Whitworth on the 12th, so I get a day off! haha I think Im going to go see the Fantastic Four, thats going to be such an awesome movie! haha yesss. And so we come to....

My cool cousin Erica emailed me today!! We saw the Jensens when we went to Snowbird in Utah, and I can say that they are probably the only sane cousins I have.. although my cousin Tom is pretty cool.. anyway we haven't talked since I was down there, but she's really funny haha. I drove all over Salt Lake with her and her brother and sister, trying to tell her how to drive a clutch efficiently. I also attempted to show her how to shift without using the clutch, which she told me not to do several times ( I did however, without her even noticing!) so Haha maybe she'll see this if she decides to stop by.

Thats all I'm going to write because it's late and I have ........ work tomorrow! woo!

Hello to everyone, and welcome to Kanadian Korner once again. I would just like to point out that it's raining outside, and I would really(!!) like someone to come and dance in the rain with me :D Anyway, I get this weekend off miraculously, and then the shit starts hitting the fan. Harvest officially starts "tomorrow," but its raining today, which will hamper the crew's ability to cut where they are right now.. haha! This means I am free for a few days. Also, its raining! And again, its raining. And.. wow! Its 11:45 already. Anyway this year should be better than last year in that we should be able to get things cut faster than we did last year.. on account of the whole damn crew being split six times. And I should've joined a union lol.

Wow, today I drove to Colfax. It took me all morning! I had to go get a hydraulic pump for a combine thats been leaking every day for the past two years. The good part is I got to drive Phillip's pickup (he's the hired man) which is a F-350 with a Supercharger on it.... its soooo awesome. Superchips in it and everything. You wouldn't believe how many gd idiots there are on the roads these days. I had five people pull out in front of me.. while I'm going 60 on the highway! One was right in front of a porker cop too, who happened to pull out.. and drive the opposite direction. That bastard. I almost rear ended a couple of the idiots, cuz its kinda difficult to stop that big old pickup.. Phillip would be so mad if anything happened haha. But it was cool.

I also happen to be burned now too. I hate washing stuff, I'm never gonna wash another combine as long as I live. yuck. So now I have 52 straight days of hell. 7am to 7pm every night. Then eight hours of sleep, and repeat. I always work after 7 too. So I get overtime.. but it isn't worth it.

Someday I'll live in a world where money doesn't matter.  And then I'll be happy!

Welcome to today, Wednesday? Honestly I can't remember anymore with harvest and and all. So I'm listening to talk radio today.. There's a book coming out in September about a supposed threat that Al Queda is planning to detonate nukes in 40 cities.. sick bastards. Osama himself says they must kill at least four million, with two million being children. I must say, this isn't an attack upon America, but western civilization. Just like the attack in London. They dont care, theyre even bombing their own children. Kids getting candy from American troops, the bastard goes and kills twenty children and a few Marines.

Its like an epidemic. I wish I could see their faces in heaven.. when they realize that they aren't going at all. Tough break for them. We need to take much more aggressive means to stop these things (I dont choose to even acknowledge them as people). They don't follow Islam, they follow some radical cult which calls for the destruction of the West. Not just America. Western civilization.

I just wish the cowards would come out for a real fight. To actually face those who they wish to kill. At least the Japanese and Germans had the courage to take on the world. These cowards from the middle east probably don't even follow their own code of honor in battle. This isn't even battle. This is pure evil invading our country.

Sure there are drastic steps we need to take. Close the borders. Turn away immigrants. Bust into these radical mosques which preach for the killing of innocent American citizens, because that folks is a violation of free speech.

This country is collapsing. Just like Rome, Napoleon's France, Ancient Egypt, those people thought, like we do, that their civilization would last forever. But we can't see that we are tearing ourselves to shreds. No one can find any common ground anywhere. Conservatives and liberals fight and fight, and nothing gets done. As one politician said in the '30s, "A plague on both your houses!" This I agree with. We need to come together, and push back this evil. These terrorists live and breath among us, following their "religion" and planning to destroy us right under our noses.

A comment was also said, that what do we do now? get out our prayer rugs and pray to Mecca? This I will never do. First of all, the Islamic world would never take this whole country, and second, I am not afraid to fight these people to save what I know and believe is right. Palestinians are already planning to attack Israel, I can feel it. When that days comes, the Lord will repel these forces, where ever they may come from, and the Holy City will be saved.

Hard days lie ahead my friends. This I do not deny. Aggressive actions need to be taken. Also remember, Israels defense is only the first step. He will come back. He will save us all again. And those who choose to cower in their caves in the mountains will hide away from His glory, and stay there to rot, like the cowardous vermin they are. Watch as this develops. His time will come again, my Lord will return. This I only just realized today. These attacks are the beginning. And who would the new Babylon be? Could it be the United States.. her great fleets and immoral lifestyle to be dashed upon the rocks? This is all foretold, and I will read upon it. Only to return to you tomorrow, when I may say more.

Until then, say what you want, liberal, conservative.. does it all really matter? All our lives are at stake, and those who fail to realize so will not be ready for those attacks that do come.

Welcome to Mindsay everyone. I think it's about time I put another entry into here. I actually have had the last couple days off, due to the ability of the semis to haul everything efficiently and so hence they do not need anyone to drive the little trucks back and forth. So I'm pretty happy I get some time off.

And so on I move, exactly what to I don't know. But I can say that I have heard Woman in a Black dress by CCR about fifteen times within the past three days. That and Chels x2 and I are going to the Foreigner-Styx-REO Speedwagon concert on the 17 of September. I can't wait its gonna be cool haha.

That and I'd like to welcome anybody visiting from facebook.. Hello! Yeah there's tons of people that seem really cool, including the ones I have already been talking to. Um I'm trying to think of more things to say.. If anyone has any suggestions on colors for my profile that would leave everyting visible, let me know.

Good day everyone. Today is again Thursday.

Some people.. wow. I know it is my choice to read or not to read, but some blogs here really seem to anger me. I mean, I just look at people who have visited my particular site, I dont go prying to try and find flaws in other's ideas.

Again and again I am shown that liberalism is a disease. As much as someone else would say anyone on the right or with any faith in any religion is a disease. First of all, a point on which I claim to be correct because my Bible is older than another's. Thousands of people witnessed the miracle's of Jesus Christ, thousands. Not just his Twelve.. thousands. And if anyone would indulge me on to how He performed these miracles without being in fact our Father, I would be glad to hear it.

Another statement I saw. Our President, being a man of faith, is crusading to destroy all of Islam, as is all white Christians. This is why there is a ruckus about forty British being killed, but when 25,000 "innocent" Iraqis die, nothing happens. These innocent Iraqis just happened to be shooting at American Marines, breaking Geneva Convention rules by fighting dressed as civilians. May I also point out, that Saddam happened to kill as many as 25,000, if not more Kurds which lived in his own cities. Iraq now has freedom.. they have held their own elections, voting for who they want to have as their leader. Not for a maniacal tyrant who now claims immunity for all his genocidal crimes, citing a clause in their constitution which he himself wrote!

This is not a war against Islam. There are steps that must be taken, however, that may seem directed at Islam. There are clerics even in America which preach the downfall of the West, asking for followers to do these horrendous deeds for Alla. Osama bin Laden has released a letter calling for his followers to kill 4 million Americans. Two million of which to be children. Another event from this last week. A suicide bomber killed eight Marines and twenty-five IRAQI CHILDREN. These things are going out, and killing any and all people who even associate themselves with the West. They don't care if you are a man, woman, or child, of any race. They kill their own people, children for pity's sake! They are not out for freedom, they are out to exterminate anything save their own radical beliefs. So you could say religion is wrong, and I would believe you to an extent. Believing to the death that you will get hundreds of women in heaven isn't religion, its insanity. This is not even what the Qoran (Koran, however you wish to spell it) says. Islamic groups in England are even now saying that this is not what their holy book says, citing that any act of suicide as a terrible sin.

This war is not a crusade to eliminate Islam. If it was, do you think that there would be Muslims still alive? God forbid this ever happens, but should an actual genocide be incited by the United States, we would not hesitate to use full force. This may sound arrogant, but there is no denying it is the truth. It is quite possible that there would be no need to even send infantry into these areas should we wish to do this. Or ground troops.

Do not forget that now we have the ability to drop a bomb through a window. On somebody. Refer to my previous blog on "death camps" as said by Senator Durban. Yes there are mistreatments of prisoners and mistakes which are made in Iraq, which I do not condone. Yet these the people involved in these events are being punished for their actions.

 Which brings me to another point. A while back a Marine killed a terrorist disguised as a civilian, who was pretending to be dead (another violation of the Geneva convention). The civil rights idiots jumped all over this Marine, who told the individual to put his hands in the air five times if not more, as seen on the video of the incident. This is an outrage to me. An American soldier protects the life of himself and his squadmates, and the ignorant activists at home make a big stink about it.

Good evening. Wow, today the shit really hit the fan quick. I get home and was supposed to go to a movie and maybe dinner with the neighbor's granddaughter who is staying with them, but for some unexplainable reason they just decided not to let her go. So then I go home and just little shit starts happening, destroyed my toe on a piece of wood sticking out from a baseboard, then burned myself on my dinner.. ugh I know its just little stuff but it all happened in perfect succession. Just enough to make oneself angry and just get disappointed about the first unfortunate event. Then realizing that this always seems to happen.I don't know.. I'm not sure if it's even classified as being stood up. But it sure feels like it. All I ever want to do is go to a damn movie. But I guess not. I must be a bad person or something.. some kind of disappointment. But whatever, my heart and body aches enough for now. I'm sick of the feeling.

Like I said, the shitteth has hitteth, the fan..eth. I know I know it's all pointless stuff that doesn't matter. Someday nothing will matter, so I'm going to watch Forever Young and go to bed. Good night all, I hope you all have an excellent day tomorrow

Wednesday comes to a close. The first and most important thing of all is to say that my thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the Marines from Ohio I believe it was, who have lost so many men this past week. I thank them all for what they have done for me. I would also like to thank all the soldiers who are still stationed in Iraq, and hope that everything goes well there so that they may come home next spring.

Another situation to be thinking and praying for, our astronauts in space, which the poorly organized rabble of scientists at NASA sent up there without being sure that they would return safely. My prayers are with you, please come home to us safely.

Finally thoughts on the day. I wish the liberals would end their complaining about Bush being President. Of course they don't agree with him. That's to be expected. But to slander and bash everything he does (i.e. appoint a UN ambassador during a recess, something Clinton did at least 140 times!). You think they'd realize that they don't have to fight him anymore. Now they should be focusing on the next election, or more important, an actual agenda with ideas and platforms which don't attack conservatives.

Lots of you may assume me to be some radical conservative. This may and may not be true. I do not believe, however, that our President has made a wise decision in taking a vacation at this time, when there is so much to be done. I also think that CAFTA and NAFTA are both the epitomy of the players of the New York Yankees, all of which selling out their home and loyal followers. Jobs are now to be found cheaper and more plentiful in other countries. Sure it's good for things like wheat, but what about the factories, which the rich men can close because of cheaper work in another country? There is something behind this.. I hope someone finds out what it is.

And yet another dy comes to passI drove all day today. Left home at about nine and then arrived in Salt Lake city around seven. Like I said, Long day. But its cool my cousins and I are hangin out and having fun, and tmoorrow we're going to go do some stuff they figured out but I dont really know what  it is. Thats cool though, we're going to have a great time.

Someday though, I wish something would work out for me. I mean, it seems like theres always something being taken. and I dont really know exactly why. But all I do is give and give.. or do I just take.. Idon't know it seems like I give a lot. But who I am doeesn't seem to be who people want me to be. Teen problems I know.. its all really stupid. Someday I'll look at these ad think of how foolish they really are. Even so.. I don;t know I even got to talk to Aryn tonight.. but it seemed diffeerent. And things don't usually go right when it feels different. But we'll figure it all out. Hopefully for the best. Thats all I have for now.

Hello everyone, this blog is an addition to my post earlier today. Yesterday I went to the fair. Why you ask? To go to see the Doobie Brothers, a most excellent band. Of course I went on rides and such. But the band was the best part of the whole day.

Now one thing about the Doobie Brothers. They play their instruments. I don't just mean play, I mean play. They are such good musicians, its amazing. Their music is perfect. You may not have to like it, but you surely have to respect it. It's hard for me to describe, but all I can tell you is that they have such skill that they make every instrument they play truly sing. They don't just bang on the instruments, they play them. Pat Simmons is masterful. His picking is extraordinary, few in the world can play a guitar like him. Another truly awesome thing to watch is their drummers. Yeah, there's two. They're good enough to play exactly the same thing. Don't believe me? Go watch them. It's like watching a drummer play by a mirror. I can't describe it any better than that, they're just that good.

Forgive my lack of description, but I still am awestruck by these guys. They are too damn good. Heres the whole group, drums and all.

They truly rock. No matter what anyone says. The musicality of this group is a step above any of today's bands. And many of their peers from their beginning years. So I say thanks to everyone in the band, I had an AWESOME NIGHT!

 Hello everyone, I have a new topic for the day. It happens to be.. Private schools. Which I despise :). So here's to all you cheating sons of bitches out there. Now you may be from a respectable private school, which is (in Washington at least) 3A or 4A. Now that's the top two school classes of the state. But then there are the private schools which are class B, or A. Now to anyone who goes to a public school, you know that it is illegal to recruit. But private schools, whether illegal or not, recruit anyone they please. They deny it, every single one of them. Let me show you an example. DeSales, a private school in Walla Walla, does this constantly. They have their regular kids, which play in all the sports. Five or six of them, like any public school. But then there are the others. For football, they have these huge lineman, that weigh about 300 pounds, and only show up during football season. And then after they go to state and lose, they disappear. You never see these bohemoths unless its football season. Hmm lets see.

Another reason. All these private schools are in towns with at least one 4A schools in them.

Hey another thing to anyone out there. Are you watching the news? If not, you might want to. I just saw video clips of people getting out of New Orleans. Hey guess what?! I saw white people too! So lets think about that. If President Bush hates black people because he's not doing enough, he must hate white people too. And hispanics. Hell, I bet the President hates everyone. So you can't sell me this bullshit that Bush hates black people.

And I like how you are placing all the blame on the President. What about the governor? What about the mayor? Even though it is all their fault to some extent, it is completely and utterly wrong to blame this on the President. Before you start making these statements, get your facts straight, and then I might listen.

Good day everyone. I guess I haven't written here in a while but who cares. Im at school now, and it seems that there are a lot of papers to write here. Lots of reading too. Anywho maybe someday I might be able to get un stressed.

But here's an update in any case. I went to the basketball meeting yesterday, which really sucked because it started today, and involved lots and lots of conditoning, and then you could get cut, which I probably would have. So I decided just to do track, because that would keep me busy enough aside from conditioning for six weeks.

But then we had a track meeting tonight! And it was so cool. I can't wait to be on the team with these people, they all seem so cool. And sometime in the spring they have a trip to Cali on which they go to Disneyland or something and allll kinds of fun and cool stuff. So I'm going to work my ass off and hopefully do really really well.

A note on my earlier things about the whole hurricane situation. I do realize it was all pretty rash, and I do stand by my statements, but I was definately just pissed off because people are blaming everyone else, and won't just get over it that a natural disaster happened which no one was prepared for. So instead of bitching like everyone else something should've been done instead. But again, I still believe what I wrote, and I must reiterate that we must start doing things to help those people. Thats all I have to say about that.

I will definately have to talk to everyone later because I have to go read some more. But I'll talk with you later!

Ok, so yesterday I went to, you guessed it, Styx, Foreigner, and REO Speedwagon. A most excellent concert indeed. Foreigner opened, with REO Speedwagon next, and Styx closing. Foreigner was definately awesome, I'd think one of the best parts of the show was when Jukebox Hero started playing. Mmm mmm mm that was tasty. Speedwagon was awesome too. Although I don't know many of their songs, it was awesome. Styx was also truly amazing. Just wanted to let everyone know how awesome the concert was, and that I am now going to bed. Good night!

Well welcome everybody to Monday. It is now 11:05 am and I am quite finished with classes now. Although I don't have anything to say at all, I wanted to put something in so here goes. Well this weekend Brad came out and we went and did nothing all day like we always do. But it was awesome anyway. And then sunday we watched football and studied alll day for this stupid exam I just took for Core. I hope it went all right but in the end you know who cares. Might as well take it easy.

And right now I'm listening to Styx, so I'm going to take off and rock out.

Well I don't have any cool phrases or lines to say, but here goes anyway. Once upon a midnight hour.. I guess thats as far as I go. Today's Friday I guess. Weekend tomorrow, yeehaw. It'll be nice to finally get a break, maybe even a little sleep because I don't have to do any homework. That's pretty cool.

Anywho I've just been running running running. Lots of work, and I hope it pays off. I mean, I know it'll be good for running and jumping and such, but hey, I'm too damn skinny. There you go. I lift three times a week and.. here I am. So like I said. Maybe it'll pay off. But otherwise track is awesome, I can't wait to get to the season and work out with some awesome people. And my coaches are incredible too. Toby knows sooo much and it's going to be awesome. Better than anything I ever learned from Huntington.

And so I'm going home next weekend, to watch the football game. Of course we're going to get stomped, but thats because it's DeSales and they're a private school and they cheat and so on. But hopefully my brother will play. He's a freshman but he's awesome, and works his ass off.

If anyone cares college is going well, I got a C on a paper but I guess who cares. At least I'll be able to pass the class. It's weird making the transition from small school where I'm one of the smartest kids, to a school where the average SAT was over 1200. Not me, I got an 1150. Like I said, who cares? Not me. The only thing I'm worried about is finding something I want to do with my life.

Did I ever mention that Styx and REO Speedwagon and Foreigner are awesome? I've been listening to them and the Doobie Brothers alll week long. Thats some awesome music.

And if there happens to be anyone who knows anything about picking.. I need some help getting my thumb to pick something other than my fingers.. so if you have any suggestions let me know.

Hey everyone check out my little brother! He is one bad ass, and if his coach had any brains he would've thrown to Morgan all season long! Have a gander - -  (This was in the paper by the way)

No. 22, Morgan Baker, caught some great passes tonight, and Jeff Hofer's been in on tons of tackles all year. So, they will be good here the next few years.

Yet Baker, Waitsburg's 5-foot-11, 145-pound freshman receiver, pulled in four of Trey Coles' passes for 21, 20, 11 and 41 yards to total 93 yards.

Baker battled three defenders for a fifth pass, and he ended up on his back with the ball on his stomach. Officials, however, ruled the pass incomplete instead of another 20-plus-yard catch.

He caught that last one too, so he wouldve had over half of the team's offense that game. Hopefully next year they'll have someone who can throw the ball. Anyway, great job Morgan, and on to basketball season!

I know this is awful late, but my Cowboys came through on Monday Night. My boy Roy Williams caught an interception and took it alllll the way back for a touchdown (46 yards) to win the game after Drew Bledsoe connected with Terry Glenn to come within six. Sure they had a subpar game, but they pulled it out when it counted. And Roy is just the guy to lift us all up. It was an over all great game. How about them Cowboys? No news anchors moved in.

We just melted snow for water, sent out caravans to pluck people out of
snow engulfed cars, fired up wood stoves, broke out coal oil lanterns or
Aladdin lamps and put on an extra layer of clothes.

Even though a Category "5" blizzard of this scale has never fallen this
early...we know it can happen and how to deal with it ourselves.

So today I read an article in which the Mexican government demands that the US allows more immigration. So I think we tell the Mexicans to fuck off, and next time instead of making useless demands take some action. I'd love to see the Mexican Army drive their pickups across the border and try to start something. In fact, I think it'd be a good idea to start immigrating lots of Americans down there and taking over the oil industry in Mexico, and using all their money for ourselves illegally. Mexico: quit making demands; your people are in our country illegally, using our tax money, and sending our tax base out of the country.

Solution? Close the border, and see what the Mexicans do. It will be nothing, guarenteed.

Jacques Chirac, France’s president, has threatened to use nuclear weapons against any state that supported terrorism against his country or considered using weapons of mass destruction.

In a high-profile speech on Thursday to update military officers on France’s strategic doctrine, Mr Chirac said the end of the cold war had removed neither the threats to peace nor the justification for a nuclear deterrent.

Citing the dangers of regional instability, growing extremism and the proliferation of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, Mr Chirac said France’s nuclear deterrence remained the fundamental guarantee of its security.

Although Mr Chirac conceded that the country’s nuclear arsenal could not deter fanatical terrorists, he said it could help prevent states sponsoring those terrorists.

“The leaders of states who use terrorist means against us, as well as those who would consider using, in one way or another, weapons of mass destruction, must understand that they would lay themselves open to a firm and adapted response on our part,” he said. “This response could be a conventional one. It could also be of a different kind.”

Mr Chirac’s comments come in the midst of deteriorating European and American relations with Iran, which last week indicated it would restart research into a nuclear programme. Analysts said Mr Chirac’s comments could directly affect the ability to negotiate a settlement with an increasingly belligerent Tehran.

“It expands the role of nuclear weapons and it makes it more difficult to argue against an Iranian nuclear weapons programme,” said John Wolfsthal, a nuclear arms expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington. “It reaffirms the discriminatory nature of the current system.” Opposition politicians in France denounced Mr Chirac’s comments as irresponsible.

France, which acquired an autonomous nuclear deterrent in 1964, spends almost €3bn ($3.6bn, £2bn) a year, or just under 10 per cent of its defence budget, to maintain its nuclear deterrent, including about 350 warheads. However, some politicians have questioned its relevance and complained about its cost in a post-cold war world.

François Heisbourg, director of the Paris-based Foundation for Strategic Research, said Mr Chirac was signalling that France’s nuclear weapons were now aimed at political rather than demographic targets, the objective being to deter the command and control capacity of rogue states rather than to threaten to annihilate cities in the old Soviet bloc.

“This is a significant shift of emphasis that is made possible by the enhanced accuracy of nuclear weapons,” he said. “It also pulls together the nuclear deterrent with the issue of state-sponsored terrorism. That is a departure from the traditional French stance, which has been to emphasise the general nature of its vital interests.”

However, Mr Heisbourg said the new doctrine could raise a potential credibility problem – what yardstick would be used to measure a response to a terrorist attack? He said the president’s speech could also influence the international debate surrounding Iran’s nuclear programme. “It is rather difficult to persuade someone to renounce the acquisition of nuclear weapons when you are explaining how wonderful they can be,” he said.

Mr Chirac said France’s nuclear deterrent also formed a “core element in the security of the European continent” as the 25 members of the European Union developed a common security and defence policy.

His warning that nuclear weapons could be used against terrorist states puts him more in line with the US’s new controversial nuclear posture, unveiled in 2002, which also cites nuclear arms as a credible deterrent to rogue states armed with non-conventional weapons.

Well today was a pretty eventful day in the world of football. I congratulate the Pittsburg Steelers and Seattle Seahawks for making it to the Superbowl, and the Panthers and Broncos deserve just as much respect, for they have had a great season. Hopefully the Superbowl will be a little more exciting, but who am I to complain?

Anyway, the greatest performance today would have to be by Seattle's Matt Hasselbeck. From first drive to the last seconds, you could tell that Matt was in the Zone. For those who want reference dig up a copy of Quarterbacks on Quarterbacks from about ten years ago.  Oh hell whatever, the Zone is where a quarterback is when he has had a game like Hasselbeck. Every pass he threw was perfect, no matter where he threw it his receiver caught the ball, and everything clicked into place perfectly. I haven't seen many signs of the Zone since the days of Troy Aikman and Steve Young, but it seems that the Zone likes #8, and stuck with Hasselbeck today. Congrats to you Matt.

And even though I am from Washington, I think I'll have to go for the Steelers. Heck I know, but whatever. It'll be a great game, and I'll see you all later!

Well Seattle, another tough break. This time it wasn't your doing however. Everybody South and East of Washington wanted the Seahawks to lose, even the referees. Now any Steelers fans who read this will just laugh and say I'm bitter because the Seahawks lost, but look at the whole day. The first touchdown which was taken away from the Seahawks is one of the most tacky calls I have seen, and even the great John Madden and Steve Young agree. As far as momentum of the ballgame, that was huge. One that may not be so true, but during two of Hasselbecks long throws to the endzone, the receiver stepped one foot in bounds and kicked the pylon, which is in the endzone. Another touchdown called back by the immaculate referee. Then we come to the holding call. Seahawks make a big play to make it to the one yard line, but thats too many yards to gain on one play, so another flag is thrown for "holding" which Madden and Young again saw as incorrect. Then the interception comes, and Hasselbeck tackles the ball carrier, and is called for chop blocking a blocker............ when he was tackling the only one with the ball. Damn stripes. So Seattle, come back next year, and have another great game. Hopefully next year you won't have to play against sixteen guys. You earned a win but weren't rewarded. Keep it up guys.

Hey Dave, if these students are showing up "looking for action as this article says... its not freedom of speech that is the problem. Free speech is peacefully expressing your opinion, not harassing recruiters, slashing their tires, and intending to cause harm to them.

I do like however this statement "The situation had degraded to the point where there was a possibility of injury to either a student or law enforcement officer. We certainly didn't want that to happen,'' said Capt. Will Griffin, one of the Army recruiters. It's too bad it didn't come to that point. Captain Griffin and his collegues are trained to defend themselves, and I'm very sure he didn't want to hurt a nazi.

"Marla Zubel, a UC Santa Cruz senior and member of Students Against War, said. "In order to stop the war, you have to make it more difficult to wage war." May I add that this is also a ignorant bullshit expression. Recruits do not wage war. They defend this land so you dumbfucks can go out and run them off of your campus. 6. Seattle wins 1995 ALDS (76 letters)
It's something of a tradition in Seattle. ... Our Mariners might not be doing so well, but damnit, we hate the Yankees with everything in us! Even when we beat them, we hate them. We'd dance jigs on top of them if we could.

I had just started my senior year of high school, in fall 1995. Inexplicably, the M's were on their way to actually getting into the playoffs. After a stunning one-game playoff against the then-California Angels, we were off to the ALDS against the Yankees. Cue the ominous cellos.

I will never, ever forget the sight of a then-rookie A-Rod standing in the on-deck circle, screaming like a mad thing as Ken Griffey Jr. sprinted around the basepaths like a bat out of hell, sliding into home to complete what was the most unexpected -- and delightful -- eventuality. Bye-bye Yankees, hello M's. The ensuing pileup on top of Griffey was pure baseball bliss.

It doesn't matter much that all three of our much-vaunted superstars left in the seasons thereafter. That moment is still one of the biggest highs for any Mariners fan and any true Yankee-hater.

I was at this game and have never experienced anything even close to the electricity that was in the Kingdome that day.

When Randy Johnson came strolling out of the bullpen to "Welcome to the Jungle", music blaring, the crowd erupting -- I had chills running down my spine. Then when Edgar Martinez roped the double down the line, I just focused on Ken Griffey. I swear, he never ran so fast in his life. The game was awesome ... and the fact the Yankees were on the other end was the icing on the cake.

I will never forget how I felt watching Edgar double down the line. I can see it in my head. I can hear Brent Musburger call, "Grif-feeeyy's flying around third!" and the delirium that ensued.

The rest of the series was unbelievable too, including the 15-inning Game 2 loss for the M's and Seattle's comeback from a five-run deficit in Game 4 on an Edgar grand slam. The Yankees must have felt that they had finally triumphed after getting a run off the unhittable Big Unit in the top of the 11th in Game 5 ... only to be stunned by Edgar's heroics.

It was a thoroughly glorious win for the Mariners in their first ever playoff appearance and a demoralizing loss for the Yankees. And (as if we forgot) ... it led to the retirement of Don Mattingly without ever playing in a World Series.

Now we must find allies and force the United Nations to end this, or end it ourselves. This is what is right. I'll be damned if I'll let the Jews suffer more than they ever deserved. So today we go see United 93. Wow is all I have to say. A glorious movie every American should go and see. Its amazing how many of you out there have forgotten about it and why our country is doing some of the things we do today. And those of you who oppose this movie... ITS THE TRUTH! Granted what happened on the plane may not ever be known, but yet the story is a true one you cannot deny and if you do move to France or Iran. You glorify fiction movies like Bareback Mounting and the Da Vinci Code, and just because the message reminds us of what happened you call it Conservative propaganda just to keep us mad at the Islamic world. Have you forgotten what this so called religion of peace did to us? Have you forgotten how you felt on that morning? How have you forgotten?? This was the event that our generation would never forget. Like our parents who never forget their exact position when they heard JFK was assassinated. But only five years later you have forgotten. Pilot of plane that dropped A-bomb dies

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Paul Tibbets, who etched his mother's name — Enola Gay — into history on the nose of the B-29 bomber he flew to drop the atomic bomb over Hiroshima, died Thursday after six decades of steadfastly defending the mission. He was 92. ADVERTISEMENT Throughout his life, Tibbets seemed more troubled by other people's objections to the bomb than by having led the crew that killed tens of thousands of Japanese in a single stroke. The attack marked the beginning of the end of World War II. Tibbets grew tired of criticism for delivering the first nuclear weapon used in wartime, telling family and friends that he wanted no funeral service or headstone because he feared a burial site would only give detractors a place to protest. And he insisted he slept just fine, believing with certainty that using the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki saved more lives than they erased because they eliminated the need for a drawn-out invasion of Japan. "He said, 'What they needed was someone who could do this and not flinch — and that was me,'" said journalist Bob Greene, who wrote the Tibbets biography, "Duty: A Father, His Son, and the Man Who Won the War." Tibbets, 92, died at his Columbus home after a two-month decline caused by a variety of health problems, said Gerry Newhouse, a longtime friend. "I'm not proud that I killed 80,000 people, but I'm proud that I was able to start with nothing, plan it and have it work as perfectly as it did," he said in a 1975 interview. "You've got to take stock and assess the situation at that time. We were at war. ... You use anything at your disposal." He added: "I sleep clearly every night." Filmmaker Ken Burns said Tibbets' life "helps to take this incredible, gigantic event and personalize it. This is a real human being who changed the course of the world inexorably on that August morning." Paul Warfield Tibbets Jr. was born Feb. 23, 1915, in Quincy, Ill., and spent most of his boyhood in Miami. He was a student at the University of Cincinnati's medical school when he decided to withdraw in 1937 to enlist in the Army Air Corps. "I knew when I got the assignment it was going to be an emotional thing," Tibbets told The Columbus Dispatch for a story on the 60th anniversary of the bombing. "We had feelings, but we had to put them in the background. We knew it was going to kill people right and left. But my one driving interest was to do the best job I could so that we could end the killing as quickly as possible." Tibbets, a 30-year-old colonel at the time, and his crew of 13 dropped the five-ton "Little Boy" bomb over Hiroshima the morning of Aug. 6, 1945. The blast killed or injured at least 140,000. Three days later, the United States dropped a second atomic bomb on Nagasaki, killing at least 60,000 people. Tibbets did not fly in that mission. The Japanese surrendered a few days later. "It did in fact end the war," said Morris Jeppson, the officer who armed the bomb during the Hiroshima flight. "Ending the war saved a lot of U.S. armed forces and Japanese civilians and military. History has shown there was no need to criticize him." After the war, Tibbets said in 2005, he was dogged by rumors claiming he was in prison or had committed suicide. "They said I was crazy, said I was a drunkard, in and out of institutions," he said. "At the time, I was running the National Crisis Center at the Pentagon." Tibbets retired from the Air Force as a brigadier general in 1966. He moved to Columbus, where he ran an air taxi service until he retired in 1985. In 1976, he was criticized for re-enacting the bombing during an appearance at a Harlingen, Texas, air show. As he flew a B-29 Superfortress over the show, a bomb set off on the runway below created a mushroom cloud. He said the display "was not intended to insult anybody," but the Japanese were outraged. The U.S. government later issued a formal apology. Tibbets again defended the bombing in 1995, when an outcry erupted over a planned 50th anniversary exhibit of the Enola Gay at the Smithsonian Institution. The museum had planned to mount an exhibit that would have provided the context of the bombing, including the discussion within the Truman administration of whether to use the bomb, the rejection of a demonstration bombing and the selection of a target. Veterans groups objected that it paid too much attention to Japan's suffering and too little to Japan's brutality during and before World War II, and that it underestimated the number of Americans who would have perished in an invasion. They said the bombing of Japan was an unmitigated blessing for the United States and its fighting men and the exhibit should say so. Tibbets denounced it as "a damn big insult." The museum changed its plan, and agreed to display the fuselage of the Enola Gay without commentary, context or analysis. The National Aviation Hall of Fame in Dayton plans a photographic tribute to Tibbets, who was inducted in 1996. "There are few in the history of mankind that have been called to figuratively carry as much weight on their shoulders as Paul Tibbets," director Ron Kaplan said in a news release. "Even fewer were able to do so with a sense of honor and duty to their countrymen as did Paul." Tibbets told the Dispatch in 2005 he wanted his ashes scattered over the English Channel, where he loved to fly during the war. He is survived by his wife, Andrea, and three sons, Paul, Gene and James, as well as a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A grandson named after Tibbets followed his grandfather into the military as a B-2 bomber pilot currently stationed in Belgium.

I just saw something else that made me realize how much I despise soccer. How much they bitch at the officials.. and don't really play to win, they play to try and get as many of the other team thrown out of the game so they can have an advantage. Flops, falls, fake injuries and all. You'd think a slide tackle wouldn't make a player fall to the ground and grab his leg like Lawrence Taylor just fell on it and broke it (if you dont understand that... look up Joe Theisman Leg Break on youtube.. youll understand). Anyway.. I saw a piece on ESPN, and there was a pass to a player.. a one-timer if you will... and instead of trying to block the shot or prevent the guy from scoring, the goalie and defenseman near him just pointed at him and screamed at the ref that he was offsides.. needless to say without those two doing their jobs the player in question scored easily. It's called playing to the whistle.. and there are some exeptions but in real sports they play until the game is stopped and THEN they argue with the refs instead of just letting the other team waltz all over them while they cry like scared little girls.
Which makes me think of something else.. soccer reminds me of pro wrestling at times. You know, how when a guy gets hit and you know it doesn't hurt that much, but he falls to the ground and rolls around for an hour anyway. This post will probably make the soccer players out there reel in pain and pretend I gave them a headache or something.. too bad they dont have anyone to cry FOUL!! to. Just a thought.

This is a guy who has already amassed Hall of Fame-caliber numbers, and there hasn't been a hint of impropriety along the way.

This is one of the greatest players the game has seen and a guy who stays out of trouble and yet he somehow gets less recognition today than others who have accomplished less on the diamond. 

While it's true he's been hurt a lot since he turned 30, he was usually injured as a result of playing the game hard. Other times involved accidents that could have happened to anybody, like slipping in the shower. At worst, Griffey is guilty of having tough luck.

Ask a few of his former managers, guys like Lou Piniella and Jerry Narron, and you get nothing but praise for Griffey and the way he plays the game. The consensus is Griffey is a gamer, a guy who plays the game the right way.

"He's always had incredible talent," Piniella said. "And he makes it look so easy, but he doesn't take [his skill] for granted."

It is a skill that has taken him to a plateau only five others -- Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays and Sammy Sosa -- have reached. Unlike the two most recent members of the 600 homer club, Griffey joins without the cloud of controversy.

You might have seen Griffey's name on the disabled list several times, but not on a court docket. You haven't seen Griffey's name associated with corked bats, grand jury testimony or unfortunate off-the-field incidents.

Others exercise the kind of poor judgment that provides tabloid fodder. Not Griffey."

Griffey hit his 600th home run off of a Mark Hendrickson curve ball, and he cranked it way outta there! Holy cow the Kid has done it!! Way to go Griffey! We're all still pullin for ya! So BO made a "passing statement" about the Special Olympics... Where's the goddamn ACLU right now? Why aren't they sueing him for hate crimes? Why aren't the civil rights groups up in arms about this? This is the garbage I hear about every day, whenever somebody says something that could be interpreted as offensive the ACLU and every civil rights advocate is on the news and threatening to sue.
